SPMS attended the HIMSS24 European Health Conference & Exhibition held in Rome, Italy, between May 29th and 31st, as part of its participation, as national representative, in the Digital Health Advisory Group for Europe (DHAGE).
The Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) is an international organization that supports the transformation of the healthcare ecosystem through information technologies. Within this context, the HIMSS24 Global Health Conference and Exhibition, one of the most important for the global digital health community, aimed to foster communication, interaction and debate on emerging themes related to digital transformation in health, undertaken by governments and healthcare communities in Europe.
Nuno Costa, Executive Member of the Board of Directors, and Cátia Pinto, Global Digital Health and International Affairs Team Manager, were present at the DHAGE group High-Level meeting, in which SPMS participates as a national representative. DHAGE aims to discuss digital health among leaders of international organizations and national governments, in an environment suitable for reflection and presentation of new ideas, on how to transform European health and healthcare through the enhanced use of information technologies.
Given its pioneering position in digital health, SPMS’ participation in this conference was an opportunity to strengthen its leading role in digital health, as well as reinforcing its ongoing commitment to positively transforming health, benefiting from advances in information technologies.
